Quiet Time Hours
Quiet time hours are the time daily between 11:00 pm in the evening until 7:00 am in the morning.
2.2.1.4 No Recreational Travel during Quiet Hours: Lot owners, their immediate family, and guests must stop all recreational vehicle and ATV travel on roadways during quiet hours.
4.6.1 Quiet Hours for Shooting: For recreational shooting, quiet hours start one hour before sundown and end one hour after sunrise.
Article 4.5 Hunting:
Hunting of game is permitted by Association-issued permit only.
4.5.3 The Right to Hunt on Association Property:
Hunting on all Association managed properties is limited to:
- Member lot owner(s),
- and their Immediate family.
Immediate Family is defined in the HPME Restrictive Covenants as:
- The Member Land Owner, and these relations to the member landowner(s): Spouse,
- Sons and daughters and their spouses,
- Grandchildren and their spouses,
- Parent of the member landowner(s)
- and his/her spouse’s parents.
4.5.4 No Guests are allowed.
- No brothers or sisters.
- No aunts or uncles.
- No nieces or nephews.
- No friends.
- Immediate Family members only.
ARTICLE V – MEMBERSHIP and MEMBERSHIP RIGHTS
Membership: To be a member of the Association, you must own at least one lot within HPME. If you own a lot, you are automatically a member of the Association, no exceptions.
Joint Membership: If more than one person owns a lot, all of the owners are considered members. They need to decide among themselves how to use their voting right, but each lot only gets one vote.
Voting Rights:
Unrestricted Right of Passage: All members who are in good standing can freely use all Association roadways without any restrictions.
Common Ownership in Shared Water Rights: All members who are
in good standing are granted access to all Association owned and operated
water resources for culinary use only.
Article IV – SECURITY
All members are issued 2 keys and gates are locked at all times.
If members loan keys out to a guest or other family member, penaties will be imposed for actions of misuse of security gate keys.
Failure to secure gates by members or immediate family/guests after gaining access is a breach of association bylaw. A penalty will be assessed to the owner following the discovery of the first offense.
All keys will be turned in to the treasurer at the time of the sale of property. Non-members are issued one key.
