We would like to thank everyone for helping us keep Hardware Park Mountain Estates a beautiful place to live and enjoy. This year, the Association has invested nearly $11,000 in road maintenance, including blasting rock, bringing in heavy equipment to grade the roads, laying new gravel, and countless volunteer hours clearing overgrowth and improving our roadways.
Unfortunately, we have recently seen motorcycles and ATVs being ridden in ways that spin tires, throw gravel and dirt long distances, and tear up the newly maintained roads. This not only undoes the hard work that has gone into these improvements, but also increases future maintenance costs that are shared by all members.
Please help us preserve our roads by riding responsibly. The Association’s bylaws include rules requiring vehicles and ATVs to be operated in a manner that does not damage Association roadways. They also establish a maximum speed limit of 15 mph on Association roads and include restrictions on excessively loud or modified vehicles that can damage the roads.
We understand that everyone enjoys riding, and we want members and their families to continue enjoying the mountain. We simply ask that everyone do so respectfully, avoiding rapid acceleration, spinning tires, or other activities that damage the road surface.
Taking care of our roads protects the investment we’ve all made in our community and helps ensure they remain safe and accessible for everyone.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping keep Hardware Park Mountain Estates a great place for all of us.
